Scott owns the Celebrity Car Museum with his mother, Kathy. Scott searches extensively to find the perfect vehicles, props and memorabilia for their displays. As a result, the collection is refreshed several times per year, which adds new sizzle to the exhibits.
The Celebrity Car Museum was opened in Branson, Mo in 2012. The Velvet family has been collecting cars and celebrity memorabilia since 1977. Their museum experience began in Tennessee in 1978 and expanded to Hawaii in 1982. Four years later two museums were opened in Orlando and Kissimmee, Florida. Most recently the family has opened their Celebrity Car Museum. They knew it was time when they bought their first Batmobile. The Velvet family still owns and operates the museum today with the hope of passing the business down to their children someday.
Kathy owns the Celebrity Car Museum with her son, Scott. She runs the admin side of the business, and enjoys interacting with the guests. She has always encouraged the younger members of the family to participate in the operations. Now the crew includes her daughter, Angie, a son-in-law, Clem, three grandsons and two granddaughters. Quite a crew!!!!!
We have over 100 vehicles on display at all times. We rotate 20-30% of our inventory each year, so that there is always something new to see. Our museum is home to over fourteen Fast & Furious cars and also a couple of retired Transformers. We recommend that you come see for yourself.
